• Hi, I am Denise McGlinchey, a former instructor of Polynesian dance and maker of Hula costumes.  I fell in love with the Hawaiian culture, the music and the tropical fabrics with their bright colors.
    • Although I am now retired from teaching, my love for these beautiful and colorful fabrics lives on in my creations.

    • Hawaiian print makes me smile and my business was founded on this.  If I had to sew every day with plain old boring apparel fabric, I would not be in business today.

    • My small, home-based business was founded on my kitchen table in 2012.  Since then, I have moved states and expanded but still work from home and sometimes will enlist the occasional assistance of other retired eamstresses who also reside here in my very small community of Golden Shores, Arizona (a small town along the Colorado River and historic Route 66 in the Sonoran low desert).

    • If you are interested in watching our 3-car garage being transformed into my new workspace, please join my Facebook Group, Sewing Pants & Coffee and friends.
