Tutu Lole's Magical Dream Shop began with my Tiki Kids logo. I wanted to turn that little logo into a real beach shack to use in the banner for my newly rebranded website. As I made little adjustments to the image, something unexpected happened—a spark ignited in the creative part of my brain. Suddenly, that little beach shack became my imaginary sewing studio...a whimsical idea I never intended to keep.

But the idea began to grow and evolve. “My Dream Sewing Studio” lived on my home page for about a week when Tutu Lole (who was unnamed at that time) cropped up in my imagination. She is much more interesting and magical than I am, so I gifted her the Magical Dream Shop, and before long, an entire island of stories began to grow around her.

I hope you enjoy the fantastical stories behind the Tiki Kids creations that happen in Tutu Lole’s Magical Dream Shop, as well as the stories about the mystical Dreamtide Island, Plumeria Cove, and all of the characters that live, visit, and experience island-inspired adventures there.

Creative Note (Questions You May Have):

Am I Tutu Lole? Not in a million years…but I do design and make all of the creations you will read about in her stories right in my home-based sewing studio (shhhh…don’t tell anyone and ruin the magic).

Some images and photo elements shared by Tiki Kids are created or enhanced with AI as part of our creative process. Our handmade clothing designs and brand vision are entirely our own.

Dreamtide Island, Plumeria Cove, Tutu Lole, and the Magical Dream Shop are original fictional creations, lovingly imagined to help tell the stories behind Tiki Kids.

The cats are real... but their names have been changed to protect their innocence. 🐾
