STORY 5: Look What Tutu Lole Did

Tiana was exhausted. She had been going and going all day long and she and her parents hadn’t sat down all day, with the exception of the time during the luau. Afterwards it was food and presents and visiting with friends and she finally got to see her cousins and be entertained by their adorable Texas accents. It took her until then to realize that her two best friends, Lizzy and Kai, had not been seen. She wondered what may have happened to them and why they weren’t there. She hoped they got the news about the change of places and that nothing had happened to them.
Tiana and her cousins decided to pick up all of Tiana’s gifts and put them in her cousin’s room for safekeeping. They could get the hire car again tomorrow to bring back the gifts and anything else that needed to come back home with them. As they walked out of the hotel and back down to where the party was still going on, Tiana could see Tutu standing by edge of the trees and one of the cabanas, waving for her to come and join her. Tiana ran to Tutu to see what she wanted and, standing just behind a tree and out of sight, were Lizzy and Kai…and guess what they were wearing!
The girls had stopped by to visit Tutu around the same time that Tiana had her fitting, and they had fallen in love with the dress and the extra fabrics that Tiana had not chosen. Tutu decided to surprise Tiana with matching dresses for her best friends but unfortunately wasn’t able to complete them in time for the beginning of the party. She didn’t put the finishing touches on them until well after the luau was over, so they all hid out in one of the cabanas until the dresses were ready.
When the dresses were finally done, Tiana had disappeared with her cousins to put her gifts away, so the two friends just waited inside while Tutu acted as lookout. The girls were excited and a little worried that Tiana might not like the fact they had the same dress, but they shouldn’t have worried because Tiana was ecstatic…nothing made her happier than matching with her family and now her 2 best friends in the whole world.
The girls took off down the beach in their matching dresses, telling everyone they met that Tutu made their dresses and what the name, in case they wanted one, too. The ALOHA PINEAPPLE PARTY DRESS was a big success. Tutu definitely outdid herself and they were determined to be her walking advertisements!
