What We DO Know About Dreamtide Island
Despite all of the mystery surrounding Dreamtide Island, there are some things that we do know.
- It’s small – you can walk almost anywhere.
- It’s owned by a private buyer who is represented by attorneys – no one has ever seen the owner.
- There are 2 larger coves on the island. Hidden Paradise Cove and Resort is on the northwest side of the island and Plumeria Cove is on the southeast side.
- The resort owner is very respectful of the local residents and has designed the resort in such a way that visitors don’t disturb the locals and their everyday lives.
- There are communities on Dreamtide Island…no cities, large businesses, franchises, clubs, malls or large attractions. The local tourist trade and the resort support the local residents and provide them with sources of income.
- Visitors that come to the island experience tropical living, dining, and entertainment and this experience is one of the major reasons they come.
- Tiki Kids is located in Plumeria Cove…and Tutu Lole and her Magical Dream Shop are part of Tiki Kids. Although we don’t know how or why, this local seamstress and her Dream Shop are as much of an attraction to Dreamtide Island as the Hidden Paradise Resort is.
As Tutu Lole would say, “Come along…we want to show you something special.”
